A christmas to remember…
We would like to thank all who have so willingly and kindly contributed to the Christmas feast for the dogs at Pets villa as well as the few hundred strays roaming our streets in the areas some of our volunteers feed. Thank you for the chickens, turkeys and can food, the dogs could not be more appreciative! Here is a glimpse of the delicious meal prepared by our volunteers on 27th December 2009:

Fei Zai is a new addition to the Pet Villa family. His owner passed on a few months back adn he was left to fend for himself. With all the joy on this day, it was also marked by the rescue of a little angel. Poncho was foundHia on a busy road a short drive away from Pets Villa. She lay on the road, hungry and cold. Poncho is now at Pets Villa thanks to a kind lady who has chosen to sponsor her for the time being. However, Poncho deserves far better! By adopting Poncho, you help us save another life on the street. Poncho is in search of a loving home and if you could be the answer to her prayers, please contact Christine @ 97937162 or email us at general@animalloversleague.com. Sadly, Poncho is not a HDB approved dog.

Pets Villa houses several animals and it is often difficult to give all the love and attention they deserve especially when very few volunteer to help out in the kennels although the dogs there are mostly just as loving. One such lovely girl would be Girl Girl. Girl Girl is suffering from a bad skin problem as well as a ear infection. Girl Girl’s skin is gradually improving with weekly baths. However, she will need medication to aid the process. Girl Girl is old and blind. However, she still eats well and loves to go on walks with careful guidance. She also loves treats especially chewy meat treats! Just like any other dog, Girl Girl longs for special attention and care of which we do our best to offer. You can help us help her by sponsoring Girl Girl’s visit to the vet. Girl Girl never asks for much. Do help us show her that there is always light at the end of every tunnel, just like Pet Villa did by providing her with a safe haven. No amount is ever too little for those like Girl Girl who count each and every Blessing.
